1- For the first 24 hours only, in order to minimize swelling, apply an ice bag on the cheek in the area of surgery applying it for 30 minutes on and 10 minutes off.Avoid rinsing, spitting, or touching the wound on the day of surgery.Drink cold liquids, eat soft food.
